Can I use FixCare if I have insurance?
Yes, you can use this program with Providers who do NOT participate with your plan.
You can also opt out of using your insurance with an In-network provider if you have a high deductable or did not want to wait for pre-authorization for the procedure or exam. The only caveat is :
1.) You must pay for the service or procedure at the time visit in full.
2.)The provider would have to agree to you opting out and you would need to sign a waiver stating your choice to opt out of using your insurance policy.
3.)Opting put would then disqualify you to submit that those fees paid for the service to your insurance provider.
On February 18, 2010, the HITECH ACT regulated that the healthcare provider is required to enter the patient's request to restrict disclosure of protected health information to a health plan for purposes, other than carrying out treatment (specifically for Payments or healthcare operations) if the patient pays in the healthcare provider out-of-pocket in full (Section 13405 subtitle D of HITECH that, 42 USC 17935) this means that if a patient does not wish to use her health insurance, they can request that their insurance not be billed.

Do I need any Pre-Authorization or preliminary tests in order to get the Imaging or treat my Physician recommended?
No, Fix Care! are not insurance. We do not obstruct or gate-keep any aspect of the treat plan between you and your healthcare provider.
Will I get a Surprise bill after I see a Participating Provider of the program?
No, all prices will be transparent by the office and fees paid before of the visit.
In the event more services are needed to treat a specific condition than those prices will be discussed with you before those procedures are conducted.
Can I submit my paid receipts to my insurance company to post against my deductible?
You may do so only if the provider is Out of network and to your out of network deductible. You are unable to submit to your decuctable if the provider is in-network.

As a Provider, Can I bill there insurance if I’m in network with the patient plan?
ButtonYes! If the patient states they have an insurance plan that you are In-network with you are obligated to bill their insurance as in accordance of your terms and agreements with said insurance company.
You must also charge the patient appropriately as per the plans agreements in the event that the patient has not met their In-Network deductible.
With all that said, the Patient does have an option to opt out of using their commercial health insurance by signing a waiver as per the HITECH act of 2010 for all insurances, except *Medicare.

As a provider, what benefits does FixCare have?
Becoming a fixed care provider contributes to a movement towards a more decentralize healthcare system. This movment will return the decision making process back into the hands of the patients and the providers in order to break away from the medical industrial complex.
Actively marketing FixCare providers to subscribed members and institutions whom are willing to pay directly to providers for their medical care bypassing the layers of bureaucracy set up to obtruct access and payment of care with traditional health insurance. FixCare providers will be part of a growing referral network of like-minded practioners where limits in "leakage" refferals out to into hospital systems and hedge funded medical practices. Those types of providers and systems tend not foster refferals back to independent private practices and maximizie billing on patients.
The major benefit to becoming a FixCare provider is that the service is FREE for providers to join, and there will be no charge for any patient acquisition unlike other marketing platforms. We at FixCare just as for the providers to pass on the savings on to the members to be a part of the platform.
Reasonably priced membership subscriptions by patiernts will fund platform and the marketing FixCare providers.
As a Provider, do I need to post my fees on the platform?
ButtonNo. Although many Providers will post their fees; You can just simply state how much of rate reduction your office would allow off your usual and customary Fees for consultation and procedures that your office regularly qoutes patients.
